DAY 1 : BRUSSELS
The capitale of Belgium = Brussels ... it is said to be the "capitale of Europe" too... but everybody knows it's TOULON!
This is the "Grand Place" at the center of the city. Old and very pretty!

Just to be very brief : Belgium is the country of Beer, Waffles, Chocolate and crazy people (probably a cliché because of the Belgian Team in Macau!!!!!!!)

Manneken Pis (fountain)
Belgium's national symbol, the statue known as Manneken Pis, is just a wee boy, literally.
On Saturday they dress him up...
In France we love to make bad jokes about Belgians... so this dressed-up statue was just great to see!

The statue's origins are lost in time:
- some say he was the son of a nobleman,
- others say he was a boy who once found an unusual and risky way to put out a house fire.

DAY 2 : BRUGES
at only 40 minutes away from Brussels: Bruges.
Home to Europe's best-preserved medieval buildings, Bruges is Belgium's most visited town.

The whole historic centre of Bruges was added to Unesco's World Heritage List in 2000 and, in 2002, Bruges took centre stage as the European City of Culture.
